Creative Freedom

Yesterday I had a blast taking pictures of Mindy. She's such a sport and allowed me creative freedom. I've been wanting to create images with the atmosphere of an old painting for a while. Usually I go for crisp, clean photographs. This time I made most of them soft and romantic.

As the sun started to set, my hubby drove us out to a field and we set up some off camera lights to create this beauty with the sun setting. Gorgeous!

A Good Photo Shoot Is Easier Than You Think

Do you ever get nervous in front of the camera? Are you so fully aware of the fact that you don't know how to pose like a model? Well, so does 99.9%  of the world. You don't need to be a gymnast, dancer or model to pull off a good photo shoot. All you need is to follow my direction, mirror me as I demonstrate a pose, and be open to letting your inner beauty shine through.

High School Glamour with Ambient Art Photography

It's that time of year again. In just a few short months a new flock of little birds will be leaving the nest and heading off to college. Are you ready?

While my husband can photograph boys so they look like rock stars or world class athletes, I like to bring out the celebrity glamour in girls. So in preparation for the graduations to come, I have put together a portrait package just for them.
